Pro Tip: Create Multiple “Classrooms” with ONE Email Account
Many users find they need more than one classroom – even though a classroom can have many students – because the students’ accounts in the classroom are visible to each other and aren’t private. Tutors, for example, will want to have multiple classrooms.
But, because each classroom must have a unique email address, this has been difficult for some. Fortunately, Gmail accounts now allow you to create multiple aliases for a single email account by using a “+”. For example, if your email is MyStudents@gmail.com, you can also use MyStudents+class1@gmail.com and, MyStudents+class2@gmail.com and so on for each new classroom. The confirmation email from the system for each of these new accounts will be sent to your main account. This is a great way to easily have more than one email!
